Our company AgroHoby, headquartered in Mersin, has officially launched the 2025 bay leaf harvest season. As of today, the first batches of high-quality bay leaves collected from the forests of the Toroslar region have arrived at our facilities for processing. In line with this year’s planned production volume, products sourced from exclusive areas such as Sinanhoca are being prioritized for processing and packaging, and will soon be shipped to international buyers, primarily in the European market.

🌍 Internationally Noteworthy Development in the Bay Leaf Sector

According to international trade data, Türkiye supplies approximately 90% of the world’s bay leaf demand. Exports to markets such as European countries, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan continue to increase steadily. Additionally, Trademap data indicates that Türkiye’s total bay leaf exports rose by approximately 30% in 2023, reaching $49.2 million. The province of Denizli accounts for around 15% of this export volume.
