AgroHoby is the brand of Hoby Agriculture and Forest Products Co. Ltd., a bay leaf factory and exporter in Tarsus, Mersin, close to Mersin International Port. We receive wild-harvested Laurus nobilis leaves from the coastal mountains of Mersin, dry them, select and clean them, grade them and pack them for export.

How our bay leaf factory works

Leaves are dried, then selected by hand or machine cleaned, and graded by size, colour uniformity, cleanliness and aroma. We supply Hand Selected, Semi-Selected, Fair Average Quality, Cut and Cleaned and Fine Powder qualities, and you can compare them on the Turkish bay leaves page.

Factory location near Mersin International Port

Our site is in Tarsus, Mersin, in the region where Laurus nobilis grows wild. The short distance to Mersin International Port keeps the route from leaf to shipment short. Loading details for 20 ft and 40 ft containers are on the export and logistics page.

Quality control and certificates

We run in-house quality control at each stage of processing. AgroHoby holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP certificates. Copies and numbers are on the certifications page, and the checks we run are described on the quality control page.

Packaging and private label
